Praxis of Vigilance #
Items: Shields, secondary layers of armor.
Training: Shield wall training with a legion of a prominence appropriate to your tier. Time spent on guard duty.
Experience: Spent more than your maximum HP’s worth in a fight. Intercepted an attack on an ally that crit. Ensured no harm came to an innocent in a dangerous situation.
Standard Augmentation #
Once per turn, you may spend 1 Power as a free action on or outside your turn to give yourself Temporary HP equal to half your average recovery. This can be performed as a response to being attacked and seeing the attack result but before being damaged. If you can already do this, instead, the first time done per encounter costs 0 Power.
Signature Augmentations #
Adaptation
Adventurer, 11+ Recharge
You may use this after you’re hit by an attack vs PD or MD. If your AC is higher than the defense that was hit, that defense increases to match your AC for the rest of the encounter. If not, attacks against that defense gain 1 disadvantage for the rest of the encounter.
Protection
Adventurer, 9+ Recharge
You may use this when an enemy engaged with you attacks an ally. The attack gains 1 disadvantage.
Regrouping
Adventurer, 11+ Recharge
You may use this after missing with a basic attack or an attack from an At-Will power that doesn’t spend any resources. Heal using a recovery as a free action.
Unfailing Virtue
Adventurer, 9+ Recharge
You may use this when you make an attack against an unstaggered target. You may roll a save against a save ends condition.
Sentinel
Champion, 13+ Recharge
You may use this after you hit with an attack against an enemy you are engaged with. They gain 2 Disadvantage when attempting to Disengage from you until the end of the encounter.
Solid Stance
Champion, 11+ Recharge
You may use this after you’re hit with a non-Crit attack vs AC or PD. Halve the damage.
Stabilizing
Epic, 11+ Recharge
You may use this when you hit with an attack. You automatically succeed at every save against all ongoing damage affecting you.
Undefeated
Epic, 13+ Recharge
You may use this when you’re staggered or dropped to 0 HP. Heal using a recovery as a free action.
